Hiral is a passionate counselling therapist dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to healing and self-discovery. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, she strives to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels understood and valued.
With a diverse background as a teacher, school counsellor, psychologist, and yoga trainer, she brings a holistic perspective to their work, seeing beyond the challenges clients face. Hiral specializes in assisting adolescents and adults with coping skills, behavioural issues, cultural adjustment, depression, anxiety, trauma recovery (including PTSD), relationship issues, addiction, and self-esteem rebuilding. Hiral will also be completing EMDR training in fall 2024.
Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), Hiral empowers clients to harness their inner resilience and navigate life’s complexities. Holding a Ph.D. in psychology, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice. Hiral is particularly passionate about serving BIPOC and 2SLGBTQ+ communities with a therapeutic approach is culturally attuned and empathetic.
Outside of work, Hiral is immersed in classical dance, yoga, painting, graphic design, and experimenting in the kitchen.
