Hannah is a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming space where clients can explore their experiences and work toward meaningful change. Hannah holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a minor in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University.

Having completed her practicum placement at Couch of Hope, Hannah saw firsthand the critical need for accessible mental health support for all individuals. This experience deepened her commitment to ensuring that therapy is a space where everyone can feel heard, no matter their background or life circumstances. Her background in the non-profit sector has also given her a broad understanding of the importance of community and a holistic view of well-being.

Hannah views the therapeutic process as a collaborative journey, where each client is the expert of their own life. She works to foster a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment that allows clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges at their own pace. Working together, she tailors her approach to fit each client’s unique needs, using flexible, client-centered interventions that are responsive to their progressing goals.

Hannah draws from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She believes in focusing on each client’s strengths, fostering self-compassion, and helping them build tools for long-term growth. Her practice is inclusive, and she welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds, working with individuals facing a wide range of challenges such as (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, self-image issues, and burnout.

When she’s not in session, Hannah enjoys spending time with friends, playing board games, paddleboarding, and exploring new destinations through travel.

Hannah offers both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate the diverse needs and schedules of her clients.
