As Administrative and Research Assistant, Kaitlin helps to ensure in-person services at the clinic run smoothly and effectively. She will also be providing research and analysis related to various psychological concepts under the direction of the Clinical Director. Her undergraduate focus was in Psychology with her Directed Research project focusing on approach and avoidance sexual motivation and their impact on sexual outcomes in individuals coping with provoked vestibulodynia and Sexual Interest/Arousal Disorder.
Her interests in psychology include learning about processing trauma through Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), removing stigmatization surrounding mental health, and the impact of sexual violence on survivors. Wholetherapy’s commitment to providing integrative and trauma-informed care resonates with Kaitlin’s belief and interests in individualized and client-focused therapy
